Kyle is the leader and founding Partner of Latitude’s Tampa office.

Prior to joining Latitude, Kyle was a partner at the Tampa office of Am Law 100 firm Bradley Arant Boult Cummings LLP. Before that, he spent four years practicing at the Washington, D.C. headquarters of Am Law 100 firm Venable LLP, where he served on the firm’s Hiring Committee. He began his legal career as a law clerk to the Hon. G. Kendall Sharp of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida.

Kyle spent a decade litigating high stakes matters across the country. His practice included representing a Fortune 100 pharmaceutical company in the national prescription opioid litigation, serving as national briefing counsel to a Fortune 500 company in products liability mass and multidistrict litigation around the country, and defending federal False Claims Act cases and investigations across the Southeast. Kyle also regularly served as outside general counsel to companies and advised in-house legal teams on litigation, regulatory, and compliance issues.

In the community, Kyle serves on the Board of Directors for the Tampa Bay Federal Bar Association, as Florida Regional Chair for The Legal Mentor Network, and sits on the Development Council for Bay Area Legal Services. He was also appointed by the Florida Supreme Court as a Director for Funding Florida Legal Aid (aka the Florida Bar Foundation), a statewide public charity that funds legal services and supports legal aid providers and Florida courts. In addition, Kyle also serves on the Board of Directors for the University of Florida Alumni Association (UFAA).

Kyle has been recognized by Florida Super Lawyers, Washington, D.C. Super Lawyers, and The Best Lawyers in America. The University of Florida also named him one of their 2020 “40 Gators Under 40.”

He earned his J.D. from Vanderbilt University Law School where he was an editor for the Vanderbilt Law Review. Before that, Kyle attended the University of Florida, where he graduated magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, was a J. Wayne Reitz scholar, and was inducted into the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences Hall of Fame.

Kyle and his wife live in South Tampa with their two children. He is a proud second-generation Florida Gator, an avid Arsenal F.C. fan, and Lightning season ticket holder.
