The general counsel (GC) at a fast-growing annuity platform had an increasing workload and wanted to build out the legal team. The GC approached Latitude for help adding an assistant general counsel on an engagement basis to start with the hopes of converting them to a full-time employee when the time was right.
SOLUTION
Latitude proposed several well-qualified candidates, including a highly experienced corporate attorney who lives in the same city as the GC. The general counsel engaged the attorney on part-time flexible basis and after four months, converted them to a full-time permanent position as assistant general counsel for the company.
