National Healthcare Organization Adds Senior M&A Attorney During Major Transaction

As part of its continued growth strategy, a national, physician-led healthcare organization serving patients across multiple states undertook one of the most significant transactions in its history. The scale and strategic importance of the deal required additional senior-level legal support to work alongside the organization’s internal legal team and outside advisors.

The company sought a senior M&A attorney with the judgment and transactional experience to support matters within a sophisticated, highly regulated environment.

SOLUTION

The company engaged a senior M&A attorney through Latitude with extensive experience advising on complex domestic and cross-border transactions. His background includes senior roles in Big Law, in-house legal departments, and government, advising organizations across highly regulated industries including healthcare, technology, and financial services.

As the transaction progressed, the legal team recognized that his experience could create even greater value supporting the organization’s broader transactional work. Rather than concentrating his efforts on the organization’s largest deal, they shifted him to oversee many of the company’s other transactional matters, allowing the internal legal team and outside counsel to remain focused on the transformative transaction while other business priorities continued moving forward.

As a result, the organization maintained progress on its broader transactional work while its internal legal team and outside counsel remained focused on one of the most significant transactions in the company’s history.
