Latitude is seeking highly-qualified attorneys with extensive government contracting experience. Applicants must have experience advising companies on all phases of the procurement process, including engineering and supply chain, drafting and negotiating contracts, sales and marketing, and compliance. Experience in as many of the following areas of the government contracts practice is preferred: bid protests, prime/subcontractor litigation, commercial transaction negotiation, claims and disputes, cybersecurity, data rights, ethics and compliance, international procurement, mergers and acquisitions, labor and employment, and government audits and investigations. Prior experience at a large or sophisticated boutique firm or as in-house counsel for a major company offering services to public sector customers is strongly preferred.

Minimum Qualifications of the Government Contracts Attorney:

6+ years of government contracts experience
Prior experience at a large or sophisticated boutique firm or as in-house counsel for a major company offering services to public sector customers is strongly preferred
Excellent academic credentials
Licensed to practice law and in good standing in state of residence

Position Details of the Government Contracts Attorney:

Compensation:

Pay: The annualized pay for this position ranges from $175,000 to $250,000 or more when calculated on a full-time basis. Pay for contract engagements is based on multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, credentials, location, market supply/demand, and the candidate’s preference (each candidate’s pay rate affects the client bill rate which can affect the candidate’s competitiveness for the position).

Benefits: In addition to pay, all Latitude Attorneys and other legal professionals working on contract engagements receive complimentary professional liability insurance coverage. All Latitude employees (including those on contract engagements) are also eligible for full benefits when working 20+ hours per week, including group medical, dental, and vision insurance, and complimentary group life, LTD and AD&D insurance. A qualified 401k plan is also available. Benefits-eligible Latitude Attorneys also receive a CLE and Professional Expense stipend.
