Healthcare Operations Attorney

Latitude is seeking an attorney with a strong healthcare operations background for a part-time, remote engagement. The successful candidate will be responsible for working with a team of fraud, waste and abuse investigators, conducting research into state contracts and state laws to ensure regulatory compliance, and also oversee Medicare, Medicaid, and provider credentialing appeal matters.  Experience with both providers and insurers is required, and experience with dental/vision plans is a plus.  

Minimum Requirements for the Healthcare Operations Attorney

  • 5+ years experience with managed care and dental/vision plan benefits
  • Solid understanding of Fraud, Waste and Abuse issues, as well as Medicaid, Medicare and related regulations
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to handle competing priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Outstanding references
