One of the area’s most highly regarded corporate legal departments is seeking to engage a transactional attorney with 6+ years of experience reviewing, negotiating and drafting commercial customer agreements for a 6-month, full-time contract position. Prior in-house counsel experience in a similar contracting role is highly preferred. Work will be performed remotely at present due to COVID precautions; however, a return to the office is expected in the future.

Requirements of the In-house Contracts Counsel

  • Minimum of 6+ years of relevant experience
  • Prior in-house counsel experience highly preferred
  • Highly proficient in all MS Office Suite products
  • Ability to work successfully with business teams to usher revenue-generating transactions to completion in a timely manner
  • Demonstrated time management and organization skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, and high degree of professionalism
  • Outstanding academic credentials
  • J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
  • Licensed in TN or eligible to immediately waive in
  • Outstanding references

  • Compensation: Competitive and commensurate with experience
