Minimum Qualifications for the In-House Patent Attorney:
5+ years of experience working with patents, experience with SEPs or “standards” required
Familiar with standards, the standards process, and the standards committee bodies;
Experience with wireless communications preferred
Electrical engineering, computer science, computer engineering, physics or mechanical engineering backgrounds are preferred, but not required
The work will include managing the patent matters, sending letters to suppliers to put them on notice, and making sure suppliers stay on track
Good organizational and time-management skills
Excellent academic credentials and graduation from an ABA-accredited law school (non-JDs will be considered if they have sufficient relevant experience)
