PA/NJ Civil Defense Litigation Attorney (Remote)

Are you a defense litigation attorney interested in joining an established bi-coastal law firm that values hands on experience? Latitude is looking for Philadelphia, PA area based lawyers with 5+ years of personal injury defense experience.  Commercial transportation, premises liability and/or product liability experience are preferred but not required. 
 

Responsibilities of the Civil Defense Litigation Attorney:

  • Drafting pleadings, motions, memoranda of law, discovery requests and responses, and legal correspondence
  • Handle all aspects of discovery, including taking fact and expert witness depositions
  • Communicate clearly both orally and in writing to clients and colleagues
  • Prepare for and attend arbitrations and trial

Requirements for the Civil Defense Litigation Attorney:
  • 5+ years of litigation experience at a defense law firm
  • Licensed to practice law in PA and NJ and in good standing
  • J.D. from an accredited law school
  • Highly motivated and ability to thrive in a client-service-driven law firm setting
  • Outstanding references

Position Details of the Civil Defense Litigation Attorney:
  • Type of role: Engagement or Permanent
  • Schedule: Full-time or Part-time
  • Location: Remote (Philadelphia area)

Compensation:
  • Pay: The salary range for this role is $130,000 to $170,000.  This position is also eligible for bonuses.  Pay is based on multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, credentials, and location. 
  • Benefits: In addition to pay, a competitive benefits package is also provided, including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance; 401(k) and generous leave policies.
