California Real Estate Litigation Attorney (remote)

Latitude is seeking an experienced real estate litigation attorney for part-time engagement work with an AmLaw 100 firm. Interested candidates must be California licensed and have 5+ years of real estate litigation experience with a focus on residential real estate. The successful candidate will be expected to handle unlawful detainer actions on the landlord side throughout all stages of litigation. Work can be remote, but attorney must be located in Southern California in order to handle possible in person court appearances and/or trials.

Responsibilities of the Real Estate Litigation Attorney (Remote):

  • Efficiently and competently research legal issues
  • Draft pleadings, motions, memoranda of law, discovery requests and responses, legal correspondence, etc.
  • Handle all aspects of discovery, trial preparation and trial
  • Communicate clearly both orally and in writing

Requirements for the Real Estate Litigation Attorney (Remote):

  • At least 5 years of real estate litigation experience with a focus on residential real estate
  • Licensed and in good standing in California
  • J.D. from an accredited, preferably first-tier, law school
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, client-service-driven setting
  • Outstanding references
