Latitude is interviewing experienced paralegal candidates for a full-time position with a small legal department of a large publicly traded corporate subsidiary located in vibrant downtown Nashville. Our client is looking for a utility player; someone with both or either litigation or transactional experience. A paralegal with at least 7 years under their belt who is highly organized, energetic and capable of multi-tasking or pivoting as priorities demand. This is a job for the professional who enjoys being involved in and responsible for a variety of projects – who is energized by “meaty” paralegal work and likes the feeling of being a much-needed and highly valued member of a high-performing team.
The position involves litigation support and contract management, including coordinating eDiscovery projects and administering the company’s contract management system, and will support the General Counsel, as well as other members of the legal department as needed. Additional responsibilities may include legal research, communicating (in writing and in person) with employees at various levels of the organization, reading, analyzing and interpreting technical documents and financial reports, and monitoring the company’s compliance with various regulatory and contractual requirements. If you’re looking for a job where you can exercise your skills, jump in with both feet, be within walking distance of cool lunch spots and be surprised at how quickly the time flies by each work day, then be sure to apply.
