Commercial Contracts Attorney - Energy Sector (Remote, In-House)

Latitude is seeking an experienced corporate and commercial contracts attorney for an exciting in-house contract engagement opportunity with one of its energy company clients. Applicants must have extensive experience drafting, negotiating, and reviewing a wide variety of commercial contracts (preferably in the energy sector), including professional services agreements, confidentiality agreements, master service agreements, consulting agreements, statements of work, technology contracts, and procurement contracts. Prior experience working at an AmLaw 200 corporate law firm or in-house with a large corporate legal department in the energy industry is preferred. This is a fully remote and full-time contract engagement.

Requirements for the Commercial Contracts Attorney – Energy Sector (Remote, In-House):

  • 5+ years of sophisticated commercial contracting experience, preferably in the energy industry
  • Experience with ISDA, EEI, NAEMA, or NAESB agreements is a plus
  • Excellent academic credentials from an accredited law school
  • Outstanding references
  • Licensed to practice law and in good standing in state of residence
