Electrical Engineering Patent Attorney - Remote

Latitude is seeking an experienced patent attorney for a part-time engagement with an Am Law client. The successful attorney will have experience managing global patent portfolios and will have a strong background in electrical engineering, healthcare and computer science fields and with inventions ranging from mechanical to electrical to software and integrations of the same. Candidates should have 5+ years of experience in drafting and prosecuting patent applications (both U.S. and foreign) and supporting IP licensing and litigation. Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science required. Fully Remote. 

Minimum Qualifications of the Electrical Engineering Patent Attorney - Remote:

  • 5+ years of legal experience in patent prosecution and patent portfolio management
  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent degree required
  • Excellent analytical and writing skills
  • Capable of working independently and with a team
  • Licensed to practice law and in good standing in state of residence  
  • Patent Bar eligible or admission
  • Excellent academic credentials
  • Outstanding references
