Contracts Attorney

One of Nashville’s most highly regarded corporate legal departments is seeking to engage an attorney with 3+ years of experience reviewing, negotiating, and drafting commercial contracts (e.g. NDAs, MSAs, customer agreements, IT licenses, etc.). This attorney with also advise the company’s internal clients on matters related to IP and operational issues. Requirements for the Contracts Attorney

  • 3+ years of experience representing business clients, preferably in a full-service or boutique corporate law firm
  • Contract drafting skills and keen eye for detail
  • Interpersonal and communication skills; must be able to work effectively with business teams
  • J.D. from accredited law school
  • Licensed/In Good Standing to practice law for TN in-house legal department
  • Outstanding references

Position Details of the Contracts Attorney

  • Type of role: Contract Engagement (6 months, possibly longer)
  • Schedule: Full-time
  • Location: Nashville, TN (preferably on-site)


The annualized salary range for this engagement ranges from $95,000 to $150,000. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to successful candidate’s education, prior work experience, other qualifications and work schedule (e.g. full-time, part-time, reduced-hours). Latitude Attorneys are W2 employees of Latitude and are eligible for full benefits when working 20+ hours per week or more, including entry to a Qualified 401k plan for eligible employees. Benefits-eligible Latitude employees receive complimentary Group Life, LTD and AD&D and professional liability insurance. Latitude Attorneys also receive a CLE and Professional Expense stipend.
