Calling all Philadelphia litigators!  Latitude is seeking a professional liability defense attorney to join a dynamic mid-sized regional defense firm in Philadelphia. This is a great opportunity for mentorship and advancement of your career while gaining hands-on trial experience. Interested candidates should have 8-12 years of litigation experience, preferably in professional liability and/or medical malpractice matters. Excellent written and oral advocacy skills are a must. Candidates must be licensed to practice and in good standing in Pennsylvania; New Jersey is a plus.

Responsibilities of the Litigation Associate:
•    Efficiently and competently research complicated legal issues
•    Draft pleadings, motions, memoranda of law, discovery requests and responses, legal correspondence, etc.
•    Handle all aspects of discovery, trial preparation, and motion practice
•    Attend court hearings, oral arguments, mediations, arbitrations, and trials

Requirements for the Litigation Associate:
•    8-12 years of litigation experience at a law firm; professional liability and/or medical malpractice preferred
•    Licensed to practice in Pennsylvania required; New Jersey is a plus
•    J.D. from an accredited law school
•    Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, professional law firm setting
•    Excellent written and oral advocacy skills

•    Compensation & Benefits: Highly competitive and commensurate with experience
