Texas General Litigation attorneys – Latitude has many Texas preeminent clients that are always looking for quality legal talent, and are not advertising these job opportunities. We are seeking general litigation attorneys (corporate, insurance, commercial, product liability and more) for engagement and permanent positions with AmLaw and boutique firms. These positions, depending upon the firm, can be remote, hybrid or in-office.

Responsibilities of the General Litigation Attorney:
  • Efficiently and competently research complicated legal issues
  • Draft pleadings, motions, memoranda of law, discovery requests and responses, legal correspondence, etc.
  • Handle all aspects of discovery, including taking depositions
  • Communicate clearly both orally and in writing
Requirements for the General Litigation Attorney:
  • At least 3 years of litigation experience at a large firm or a sophisticated boutique
  • Licensed and in good standing in state of residence
  • J.D. from an accredited, preferably first-tier, law school
  • Outstanding references

We place legal professionals in permanent, temporary, and flexible roles. Latitude Engaged Professionals are usually W2 employees of Latitude and, if located in the United States, are eligible for full benefits when working in roles for 20 hours or more per week, including complimentary Group Life, Long term disability, AD&D, and a qualified 401k plan (subject to a qualifying period). A CLE and Professional Expense stipend is also available to benefits-eligible Latitude Attorneys. Latitude provides complementary professional liability insurance coverage to all Latitude Engaged Professionals for their Latitude engagements.
