Are you an attorney experienced negotiating data processing agreements (DPAs) and other data privacy provisions? Are you interested in a multi-month, full-time engagement role working within a large legal department at an international publicly-traded company company? This role involves negotiating and advising on numerous DPAs to conform with existing and new state privacy laws. Experience reviewing, analyzing and negotiating DPAs is required, as is a deep understanding of federal and state privacy laws. This is a full-time, engagement/project role that is expected to last through the end of 2023.
Requirements for the Data Privacy Attorney:
- 5+ years as a data privacy attorney with an AmLaw corporate law firm, sophisticated boutique firm, or a large corporate legal department
- Deep knowledge of state and federal privacy laws
- Experience drafting, reviewing, red-lining and negotiating data processing agreements is required.
- Licensed to practice law and in good standing in state of residence

Compensation & Benefits
The annualized compensation for this position ranges from $175,000 to $200,000. Pay is based on numerous factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, and credentials. In addition to salary, Latitude Engaged Professionals are W2 employees of Latitude and are eligible for full benefits when working in roles for 20 hours per week, including a Qualified 401k plan. Benefits-eligible Latitude employees receive complimentary Group Life, LTD and AD&D. Latitude Attorneys also receive professional liability insurance and a CLE and Professional Expense stipend
