Venture Capital Attorney – Contract and Remote

Latitude is seeking attorneys looking for part-time contract work who have experience with early stage venture capital, for a multi-city law firm client. This progressive firm welcomes high quality remote candidates licensed in FL, NY, IL and CA, who have some background with deals executed in Delaware and/or New York. If you have prior Big Law recent experience and excellent academic credentials from a top tier law school, you are a great candidate for this new position. This is an immediate need and is expected to last at least two months, and possibly ongoing. You will enjoy the opportunity to get a foot in the door with this dynamic firm.

Requirements for the Venture Capital Attorney:

4+ years of law firm experience
Excellent academic credentials
Licensed and in good standing in FL, NY, IL, or CA
Outstanding references

Compensation
Pay is based on numerous factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, credentials and location. The annualized compensation for this position ranges from $150,000 to $250,000 or more.

We place legal professionals in permanent, temporary, and flexible roles. Latitude Engaged Professionals are usually W2 employees of Latitude and, if located in the United States, are eligible for full benefits when working in roles for 20 hours or more per week, including complimentary Group Life, Long term disability, AD&D, and a qualified 401k plan (subject to a qualifying period). A CLE and Professional Expense stipend is also available to benefits-eligible Latitude Attorneys. Latitude provides complementary professional liability insurance coverage to all Latitude Engaged Professionals for their Latitude engagements.
