Paralegal – Litigation (Hybrid from Minneapolis, MN)
Are you an outstanding litigation paralegal with experience using technology solutions to manage cases and projects? Are you intrigued by the flexibility a contract opportunity offers? Latitude is seeking a contract paralegal with 3+ years of litigation experience for an engagement to support two attorneys at a national class action law firm. Successful candidates must excel at working in a high energy environment with great attention to detail and have significant experience supporting pre-trial litigation activities, including supporting the preparation for and summarizing of depositions, researching, and writing briefs and pleadings, handling state and federal court filings and maintaining legal calendars. This position may include some legal assistant tasks in addition to paralegal work.
Basic Requirements for the Paralegal (Litigation):
3+ years of litigation experience as a paralegal
Extensive experience supporting depositions, preparing and filing of briefs and motions and calendaring
Strong working knowledge of iManage, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, etc.
Experience using Relativity (or similar document production platform) to upload, review, produce, and export litigation-related data, including experience with case assessment, technology assisted review, email threading, text-based near duplicate identification, and privilege logging
Federal court filing experience required
Able to manage and prioritize multiple matters
Highly professional, detail-oriented, and diligent
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Bachelor’s degree and/or paralegal certificate are strongly preferred
Outstanding professional references required
Position Details for the Paralegal (Litigation):
Type of role: Engagement (Contract)
Schedule: Full-Time September through January, with potential to extend
Location: Hybrid (in office 2 to 3 times per week) – Minneapolis suburban office
Compensation: Pay: The salary range for this role is $50,000 - $95,000. Pay is based on multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, credentials, and location.
