Latitude is working with a public company in the Nashville area that is adding an attorney with prior public company experience to support its various compliance and ethics programs. Primary focus will include internal investigations, Code of Conduct compliance and review, ethics hotline response, policy management, and training. SEC compliance experience is required. Company is on a hybrid schedule and open to considering a direct hire or contract engagement (full-time or reduced-hours).
Requirements for Compliance & Ethics Attorney
5+ years of legal experience, including securities law experience
Prior experience in the compliance and/or ethics space
Excellent academic credentials from an ABA-accredited law school
License to practice law and in good standing

Schedule: Full-time or Reduced-Hours
Compensation Annualized compensation on a full-time basis ranges between $165,000 to $200,000 (with bonus potential for full-time, permanent hires). Pay is based on numerous factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, credentials and location. For contract engagements, in addition to salary, Latitude Attorneys are W2 employees of Latitude and are eligible for full benefits when working in roles 20+ hours per week, including a Qualified 401k plan. Benefits-eligible Latitude employees receive complimentary Group Life, LTD and AD&D. Latitude Attorneys also receive professional liability insurance and a CLE/Professional Expense stipend.
