Real Estate Attorney - Commercial Leasing (In-House Counsel)

Latitude is seeking an experienced commercial real estate leasing attorney to join the growing legal department of one of the largest privately held real estate development companies in the United States. Applicants must have 5+ years of sophisticated commercial leasing experience, including negotiating and drafting complex commercial leases, subleases, assignments, and other transfers of retail space. Additional experience with real estate transactional matters, including real estate acquisitions and developments is a plus. Prior experience working in the commercial real estate group of a large company or a large to mid-sized law firm is preferred. This is a full-time, permanent, and on-site in-house counsel position in west-central Florida.

Requirements of the Real Estate Attorney – Commercial Leasing (In-House Counsel):

5+ years of sophisticated commercial real estate leasing experience
Prior experience working in the real estate group of a large company or at a large to mid-sized law firm is preferred
Excellent academic credentials
Licensed to practice law and in good standing in Florida, or eligible to become Authorized House Counsel in Florida
Outstanding references

We place legal professionals in permanent, temporary, and flexible roles. Latitude Engaged Professionals are usually W2 employees of Latitude and, if located in the United States, are eligible for full benefits when working in roles for 20 hours or more per week, including complimentary Group Life, Long term disability, AD&D, and a qualified 401k plan (subject to a qualifying period). A CLE and Professional Expense stipend is also available to benefits-eligible Latitude Attorneys.
