Latitude is seeking a product liability litigation defense attorney for a permanent position with boutique San Francisco law firm. The successful candidate must be California licensed. This can be a completely remote or hybrid position, but the successful candidate may have to make periodic court appearances in Northern and Southern California. Interested candidates must have 3+ years of product liability litigation experience at a large firm or a sophisticated boutique. The successful candidate will be assisting on complex matters at all stages of the litigation lifecycle.

Responsibilities of the Product Liability Litigation Attorney (Hybrid or Remote):

• Efficiently and competently research complicated legal issues
• Draft pleadings, motions, memoranda of law, discovery requests and responses, legal correspondence, etc.
• Handle all aspects of discovery, including taking depositions
• Communicate clearly both orally and in writing

Requirements for the Product Liability Litigation Attorney (Hybrid or Remote):

• At least 3 years of product liability litigation experience at a large firm or a sophisticated boutique firm
• Licensed to practice law in California and in good standing 
• J.D. from an accredited, preferably first-tier, law school
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, client-service-driven law firm setting
• Outstanding references

Compensation
The annualized compensation for this position ranges from $180,000 to $230,000 or more. Pay is based on numerous factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, credentials and location. In addition to salary, Latitude Engaged Professionals are W2 employees of Latitude and are eligible for full benefits when working in roles for 20 hours per week, including a Qualified 401k plan. Benefits-eligible Latitude employees receive complimentary Group Life, LTD and AD&D and professional liability insurance. Latitude Attorneys also receive a CLE and Professional Expense stipend.
