Latitude is working with a successful boutique law firm looking for a litigator who is ready to step in and take the lead on business litigation matters. This firm pairs innovation with a practical sensibility to produce excellent and cost-effective results for its clients. The firm offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of business litigation matters while keeping a reasonable billable hour requirement – allowing time for personal enrichment outside of work. The ideal candidate should have experience in all phases of litigation, including motion drafting, discovery, depositions, hearings, and trial, and be able to hit the ground running. A book of business is helpful, but not required. This is a full-time, onsite position in Brentwood, Tennessee.

Basic Requirements for the Litigation Attorney:

Minimum of 3 years of experience representing clients in state and federal court litigation, particularly in the areas of insurance defense, employment law, and business litigation
Experience conducting legal research, drafting and arguing motions, taking and defending depositions, and presenting evidence and arguments at trial
Excellent analytical, written, verbal and interpersonal skills
Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
Licensed to practice law in Tennessee
Outstanding professional references

Compensation:

Pay: The annualized pay for this position ranges from $100,000 to $150,000 or more, plus year-end discretionary bonuses, discretionary profit-sharing bonuses for 401k eligible employees, and the potential for collections-based bonuses in certain circumstances. Pay is based on multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, and credentials.
Benefits: In addition to pay, a competitive benefits package is also provided.
