Latitude is seeking an experienced commercial litigation attorney in Pittsburgh to serve as local counsel to an international nutrition company client.  This is a great opportunity to run point and do the heavy lifting in a sophisticated commercial litigation matter, including handling hearings, motion practice, discovery, depositions, and, if necessary, trial.  Candidates will work alongside out-of-state lead counsel who will provide high level strategy and direction, but who will rely on the successful candidate to run the on-the-ground litigation.  Eligible candidates must have 8+ years of commercial litigation experience in Pennsylvania, preferably with a major law firm or a sophisticated litigation boutique.

Requirements for the Pittsburgh Commercial Litigation Attorney (Contract Engagement):

• 8+ years of commercial litigation experience in Pennsylvania
• Excellent pretrial and trial skills and trial experience
• Prior experience working at a major law firm or a sophisticated litigation boutique is preferred
• Ability to travel for depositions, hearings, and trial
• Excellent academic credentials
• Licensed to practice law and in good standing in Pennsylvania
• Outstanding references

Compensation

The annualized compensation for this position is between $200,000 and $300,000. Pay is based on numerous factors including, but not limited to, work experience, qualifications, credentials and location. In addition to salary, Latitude Engaged Professionals are W2 employees of Latitude and are eligible for full benefits when working in roles for 20 hours per week, including a Qualified 401k plan.  Benefits-eligible Latitude employees receive complimentary Group Life, LTD and AD&D and professional liability insurance.  Latitude Attorneys also receive a CLE and Professional Expense stipend.
