Latitude is seeking a highly skilled Consumer Marketing Attorney to work on assignment part-time for our NYSE-traded, collegial legal department client. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for providing expert legal counsel and support to the marketing and advertising teams, ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in advertising law and consumer protection as well as - ideally - consumer finance regulation. Prior experience at an Am Law 200 corporate law firm, a sophisticated boutique firm, or in-house with a medium to large legal department is preferred. This role is remote and is an immediate need.
Minimum Qualifications of the Consumer Marketing and Advertising Attorney (Remote, Part-Time, Contract Engagement):
- 6+ years of consumer marketing regulatory and transactional experience (in-person and online channels, nationwide)
- Significant experience reviewing and advising on marketing practices, advertising campaigns and materials and written promotional and contracting documents.
- Specific experience with consumer financing practices is a bonus
- Prior experience at an Am Law 200 corporate law firm, a sophisticated boutique firm, or in-house with a major company is strongly-preferred
- Excellent academic credentials
- Licensed to practice law and in good standing in state of residence
- Outstanding references

Compensation
The annualized compensation for this position ranges from $150,000 to $180,000 or more on an annualized basis. Pay is based on numerous factors, including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, credentials and location. In addition to salary, Latitude Engaged Professionals, if W-2 employees of Latitude and are eligible for full benefits when working in Latitude roles totaling 20+ hours per week, including a Qualified 401k plan. Benefits-eligible Latitude employees receive complimentary Group Life, LTD and AD&D and professional liability insurance. Latitude Attorneys also receive a CLE and Professional Expense stipend.
