Florida Workers’ Compensation Attorney (Fully Remote Interim In-House Counsel Engagement)

Latitude is seeking an experienced Florida workers’ compensation attorney for an exciting in-house opportunity to serve as an interim counsel for one of its corporate clients. This is a fully remote contract 
engagement expected to last around 3-4 months. Applicants must have extensive experience representing employers, insurance carriers and/or third-party administrators in Florida Workers’ Compensation matters.  Prior experience working in a large firm, a sophisticated boutique firm, and/or a large corporate legal department is preferred.

  • 5+ years of Florida workers’ compensation litigation experience

  • Excellent academic credentials

  • Licensed and in good standing in the state of Florida

  • Outstanding references

Position Details of the Florida Workers’ Compensation Attorney (Fully Remote Interim In-House Counsel Engagement)

  • Type of role: Contract Engagement

  • Schedule: Part-time or Full-time

  • Duration: ~3-4 months

  • Location: Fully Remote


Pay: The annualized pay for this contract position ranges from $100,000 to $125,000 or more when calculated on a full-time basis. 
Pay for contract roles is based on multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, credentials, location, market supply/demand, and the candidate’s preference (each candidate’s pay rate affects the client bill rate which can affect the candidate’s competitiveness for the position).

Benefits: In addition to pay, all Latitude contract professionals receive complimentary professional liability insurance coverage. Latitude contract professionals are usually W2 employees of Latitude and are eligible for full benefits when working in roles for 20 hours per week. Benefits-eligible Latitude contract professionals receive complimentary Group Life, LTD and AD&D. A qualified 401k plan is also available. Benefits-eligible Latitude Attorneys also receive a CLE and Professional Expense stipend.
