Latitude is recruiting an experienced construction litigator in Florida for one of its AmLaw 100 law firm clients. The successful candidate must be Florida licensed and have at least 5 years of complex construction litigation experience. The successful candidate will be in a special support role in the complex litigation construction practice group and will be responsible for sophisticated construction litigation matters, including construction defect disputes. This is a full-time, non-partner track position in one of the firm’s Florida offices, which include Miami, Tampa, Orlando, and Jacksonville.
Requirements for the Construction Litigation Attorney:
5+ years of construction litigation experience
Previous experience at a top law firm highly preferred
Significant court or arbitration experience and experience conducting depositions and discovery
Trial or evidentiary hearing experience
Knowledge of insurance risk transfer issues
Licensed and in good standing in Florida
Board Certification in Construction Law preferred
J.D. from an accredited, top-tier law school
Self-motivated and strong communication, research and writing skills
Outstanding references

Compensation: Pay: The salary for this position is in the $200,000 range. Pay is based on multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, credentials, and location.
