Latitude is looking for an attorney with 5+ years of commercial contracts experience for an in-house opportunity with a technology related environmental services company located in San Francisco/the Bay Area. This job is fully remote but living in the Bay Area is preferred. Applicants must have experience drafting, negotiating, and reviewing a wide variety of commercial contracts. Longstanding experience with MSAs, SaaS agreements, SOWs and privacy contracts is required. Experience providing counseling on innovative VC-backed products and/or services is an important requirement. Experience providing advice on privacy and data protection, marketing, hardware products, and subscription business related matters is also required. The successful candidate must have significant experience drafting terms of service, disclosures and disclaimers as well as other customer related legal policies. This is a part-time 20 to 30 hour per week position. 

Requirements for the Commercial Contracts Attorney:

• 5+ years of experience drafting, negotiating, and reviewing a wide variety of technology related commercial contracts 
• Experience providing counseling on innovative VC-backed products and/or services
• Experience providing advice on privacy and data protection, marketing, hardware products, and subscription business related matters
• Significant experience drafting terms of service, disclosures and disclaimers as well as other customer related legal policies
• Excellent academic credentials from a U.S. accredited law school
• Strong communication skills
• Capability and experience to work independently and with a team
• Outstanding references
• Licensed and in good standing in the state of residence

Compensation
The annualized compensation for this position ranges from $200,000 to $225,000 or more. Pay is based on numerous factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, credentials and location. In addition to salary, Latitude Engaged Professionals are W2 employees of Latitude and are eligible for full benefits when working in roles for 20 hours per week, including a Qualified 401k plan. Benefits-eligible Latitude employees receive complimentary Group Life, LTD and AD&D and professional liability insurance. Latitude Attorneys also receive a CLE and Professional Expense stipend.
