Commercial Contracts Counsel

Latitude is seeking an experienced commercial contracts attorney to join our growing private company client. Applicants must have extensive experience structuring, drafting, negotiating, and reviewing a wide variety of commercial contracts. Experience with general vendor agreements, materials and service procurement agreements and tech contracts is desired. You will play a key role in the small and collegial legal department of this global manufacturer that is a leader in green manufacturing. Prior experience working in a corporate legal department, at an Am Law 200 corporate law firm, or a sophisticated boutique law firm is highly preferred.

Basic Requirements for the Commercial Contracts Counsel:
  • 4+ years of commercial contracting experience
  • Significant experience drafting, negotiating and reviewing complex commercial contracts
  • Experience with a range of commercial contracts related to corporate procurement, sales, materials, business services and technology agreements is required
  • Prior in-house experience or experience practicing in the corporate practice group of a large full service law firm or well-respected boutique is required
  • Excellent analytical, written, verbal and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and to be a valued team player
  • Licensed to practice law in Georgia or able to qualify for the in-house practice exception  
  • Excellent academic credentials from an ABA-accredited law school
  • Outstanding professional references
