UK Labor & Employment Lawyer (Remote Engagement)

Latitude is seeking an experienced Employment/Labor attorney for an in-house opportunity with one of its global clients in the United Kingdom (UK).   This is a great opportunity for a mid-level in-house counsel to join a growing company on a part-time engagement basis.  Applicants must be licensed to practice law in the UK and have experience providing legal support in the EMEA and APAC regions, and specifically the UK, EU and Australia.  This is a remote position but candidates must be located in the UK. 

Requirements for the Employment/Labor Attorney (In-House Legal Counsel):
  • 6+ years of experience as an employment attorney specifically in the following jurisdictions: UK and Australia; experience with employment counseling in EU countries is preferred
  • Gained legal experience in an international law firm (preferably in the UK or the EU), and worked for at least 3 years as part of an in-house legal team (ideally for an international company)
  • Experience delivering employment legal advice to support business needs and employment counseling and litigation matters
  • Excellent academic credentials from an accredited law school
  • Outstanding references
  • Licensed in the UK

Position Details for the Employment/Labor Attorney (In-House Legal Counsel):
  • Type of Role: Engagement (4-5 months)
  • Schedule: Part-Time (approx. 20 hours per week)
  • Location: UK (London, Manchester, Oxford or Bristol preferred)
  • Compensation: Highly competitive and commensurate with experience
