Latitude is seeking an attorney with 5+ years of litigation and appellate advocacy experience for an exciting opportunity to join a nationally recognized civil litigation boutique firm in Miami. Eligible candidates must have excellent pretrial and post-trial skills, including experience preparing pleadings, motions, and briefs, analyzing factual and legal issues, handling discovery, conducting legal research, strategizing for trial, and arguing substantive motions. This firm primarily handles complex product liability, mass torts, and class action matters, so candidates must have an interest in that space. While prior experience handling tobacco litigation matters is a plus, it is not a requirement.
Requirements for the Litigation/Appellate Attorney – Boutique Trial Law Firm
- 5+ years of litigation and appellate advocacy experience, ability to work with little to no supervision
- Prior experience representing clients in tobacco litigation matters is a plus, but not required
- Prior experience working at a regional firm, or a sophisticated litigation boutique is preferred
- Excellent academic credentials
- Licensed to practice law and in good standing in Florida (candidates also licensed in Oregon, Illinois, New Mexico, Hawaii, Nevada, and USV is a plus)
- Outstanding references
- Travel required

Compensation
The salary range for this role is $180,000 to $200,000 or more. This position is also eligible for bonuses. Pay is based on multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, credentials, and location.
