Responsibilities of the In-House Commercial Real Estate Attorney:
Providing legal advice and guidance on a wide range of legal matters related to commercial real estate transactions
Reviewing and negotiating leases and contracts
Handling litigation matters as they arise, including managing discovery, preparing motions, appearing in court, and negotiating settlements
Conducting legal research
Ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations
Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to support the company’s legal needs
Requirements for the In-House Commercial Real Estate Attorney:
5-10 years of experience working on commercial real estate leasing and operations
Experience litigating commercial real estate matters in court
General knowledge of NY real estate laws and leasing
Licensed to practice and in good standing in New York
J.D. from an accredited law school and excellent academic credentials
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, professional law firm setting
Excellent written and oral advocacy skills

Compensation
Pay: The salary range for this role is $150,000-$175,000. Pay is based on multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, credentials, and location.
