Latitude’s law firm client is seeking associate-level Oregon licensed litigation attorneys (1+ year experience) to assist partners and senior associates with all phases of litigation matters, including discovery, document review, motion practice, trial preparation, and client communication. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare discovery and respond to requests (admissions, disclosures, interrogatories, depositions, orders, etc.).
Attend and manage hearings, mediations, settlement conferences, and court proceedings.
Draft pleadings, motions, and briefs.
Effectively communicate with clients and the managing attorney(s) to understand the client’s concerns and provide sound legal advice.
Analyze, evaluate, synthesize, and research case law, statutes, regulations, and documents impacting the firm’s clients.
Strong written and critical thinking skills that lead to comprehensive and persuasive writings.
Communicate clearly and logically (both orally and in writing) with regulatory agencies, courts, and counsel.
Organize and manage documents from multiple sources in the course of multidistrict and other complex litigation.
Ability to handle complex problems utilizing initiative, creativity, and sound professional judgment.
Work both independently and as a contributing team member.

1+ years of law firm experience
Licensed and in good standing in Oregon
Excellent academic credentials

Type of role: Permanent Placement
Schedule: Full-Time (40 hours/week)
Location: Hybrid (2-3 days in Salem Oregon office) OR Fully Remote (after a period of in-person training at the Salem Oregon office)
Compensation: Pay: The salary range for this role is $80,000 to $120,000+. Pay is based on multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, credentials, and location.
