Latitude is seeking a corporate paralegal with licensing / filings experience for a flexible, remote contract/engagement role. The successful candidate must have at least 3 years of experience working with a large law firm and/or a corporate legal department. The paralegal will support the in-house legal department in making filings across multiple states to secure licensing of the company's operations and maintain regulatory compliance. The successful candidate can be located anywhere and can work flexible hours between 20 and 40 hours per week, with no specific time zone requirements. The role starts in November and has an initial term of 6 months.

Requirements of the Corporate Paralegal:

• 3+ years of experience in a large law firm and/or corporate legal department as a corporate paralegal
• Experience of preparing making extensive online filings of various types, with a preference of insurance, franchise and other complex filings.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Confidence and effectiveness in working and communicating across organizations with various departments and leadership
• Experience with Excel
• Notary public with remote notary experience is a plus

• Compensation: The annualized compensation for this position (as-if full-time) ranges from $55,000 to $85,000 or more. Pay is based on numerous factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, credentials, and location. In addition to salary, Latitude Engaged Professionals are W2 employees of Latitude and are eligible for full benefits when working in roles for 20 hours per week, including a Qualified 401k plan. Benefits-eligible Latitude employees receive complimentary Group Life, LTD, and AD&D and professional liability insurance. Latitude Attorneys also receive a CLE and Professional Expense stipend
