Supply chain/procurement contracts experience is required. Experience with construction contracts, cost accounting, and/or government contracts is a plus.
Requirements for the Supply Chain Procurement Attorney, In-house Corporate Counsel:
4+ years of experience in procurement contracting at an Am Law 200 firm, comparable boutique, or in-house with manufacturing company
Government contracting experience, including cost accounting and bid protests, highly preferred
Excellent academic credentials
Licensed to practice law and in good standing; must be eligible to waive into State Bar of VA as in-house counsel

Type of role: Contract Engagement or Contract-to-Hire Potential
Schedule: Full Time
Location: Onsite at Corporate Offices in Norfolk, VA Area; out-of-area candidates are encouraged to apply; travel and housing stipend provided for successful candidate who resides out-of-area
Compensation: Pay: The annualized pay for this position ranges from $150,000 to $200,000 when calculated on a full-time basis, plus additional travel and housing stipend for any successful out-of-area attorney while on engagement. Pay for contract engagements is based on multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, credentials, location, market supply/demand, and the candidate’s preference (each candidate’s pay rate affects the client bill rate which can affect the candidate’s competitiveness for the position).
Benefits: In addition to pay, all Latitude Attorneys and other legal professionals working on contract engagements receive complimentary professional liability insurance coverage. All Latitude employees (including those on contract engagements) are also eligible for full benefits when working 20+ hours per week, including group medical, dental, and vision insurance, and complimentary group life, LTD and AD&D insurance. A qualified 401k plan is also available. Benefits-eligible Latitude Attorneys also receive a CLE and Professional Expense stipend.
