Basic Requirements for the Commercial Litigation Attorney:
  • 7+ years of experience as a commercial or employment litigation attorney in a law firm setting
  • Courtroom experience, experience taking and defending depositions, and experience interviewing witnesses and clients
  • Portable book of business/strong referral network, preferred
  • Desire to manage and mentor junior-level associate attorneys and paralegals
  • Demonstrated ability to work as a “stand-alone” first-chair litigation attorney
  • A collaborative spirit with a drive to grow your practice within a supportive team
  • A track record of community and bar association involvement
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
  • Licensed to practice law in Tennessee, or the ability to be admitted to practice in Tennessee
  • Outstanding professional references
Position Details of the Commercial Litigation Attorney:
  • Type of role: Permanent
  • Schedule: Full-time
  • Location: Metro Nashville, TN (Onsite)
Compensation:
  • Pay: The annualized pay for this position will vary depending on experience and the book of business the successful candidate brings to the table. This role has the the potential for bonuses and/or collections-based bonuses and offers the flexibility to propose other compensation structures in certain circumstances. Pay is based on multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, and credentials. 
  • Benefits: In addition to pay, a competitive benefits package is also provided.
