Latitude is seeking skilled and experienced California litigation attorneys to fill contract roles with several national and regional law firm clients, in addition to roles with national corporate clients. These roles offer exciting opportunities for attorneys with 2-8+ years of litigation experience, including general, commercial, or personal injury cases in both state and federal courts.
Successful candidates will contribute to all phases of litigation, including:
Conducting document discovery and evidence management.
Researching and drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, and other court filings.
Handling depositions, attending status conferences, and arguing motions.
Collaborating with clients and colleagues to deliver top-tier legal services.
While candidates must hold a California bar license and be in good standing, they are welcome to reside in other states. Minimum Requirements for the California Litigation Attorney:
2-8+ years of proven litigation experience, including court appearances, depositions, and motion practice.
Active California bar membership in good standing.
Strong academic credentials from an accredited law school.

Position Details for the California Litigation Attorney:
Type of Role: Contract Engagement
Schedule: Flexible (full-time, part-time or part to full-time)
Location: Fully Remote (CA travel as required)
Compensation: Pay: The annualized pay for this contract position ranges from $150,000 to $200,000+ when calculated on a full-time basis.
Pay for contract roles is based on multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, credentials, location, market supply/demand, and the candidate’s preference (each candidate’s pay rate affects the client bill rate which can affect the candidate’s competitiveness for the position.
Benefits: In addition to pay, all Latitude contract professionals receive complimentary professional liability insurance coverage. Latitude contract professionals are usually W2 employees of Latitude and are eligible for full benefits when working in roles for 20 hours per week. Benefits-eligible Latitude contract professionals receive complimentary Group Life, LTD and AD&D. A qualified 401k plan is also available. Benefits-eligible Latitude Attorneys also receive a CLE and Professional Expense stipend.
