EMEA Labor and Employment Attorney (In-House, Remote, Contract) 
 
Latitude is seeking an attorney with 7+ years of EMEA labor and employment experience for an opportunity with a global technology company.  Applicants must have experience providing legal counsel on various EU workforce laws and regulatory matters in multiple EMEA jurisdictions to step in and seamlessly advise the company’s business teams and HR department, including advising on EU Works Council matters. This is a part-time, fully remote interim contract position. Fluency in English is required. 
 
Requirements for the EMEA Labor and Employment Attorney (In-House, Remote, Contract): 
·         7+ years of experience with a law firm and/or in-house legal department, handling EMEA labor and employment law matters   
·         Experience providing legal analysis and counsel on a wide array of EMEA employment matters, including advising on EU Works Council matters 
·         Experience advising in multiple EMEA jurisdictions (independently, and acting as liaison between a company and outside counsel)  
·         Demonstrated capability to develop a strong client partnership with a company’s HR team 
·         Excellent academic credentials from an accredited law school 
·         Exceptional written and verbal communication skills 
·         Outstanding professional references 
·         Active law license in good standing  
·         English fluency is required 
·         German, French and/or Dutch proficiency is a plus 
 
Position Details for the EMEA Labor and Employment Attorney (In-House, Remote, Contract): 
·         Type of Role: Engagement Contract (March through May) 
·         Schedule: Part-time 3 to 4 days/week 
·         Location: Remote (must be available on Central European Time)  
·         Compensation and Benefits: competitive and commensurate with experience
