Energy Finance Attorney

Latitude has been engaged by a large law firm to assist in finding an experienced, counsel-level energy finance attorney for an engagement. The attorney must have experience structuring, drafting, negotiating, and reviewing a wide variety of financing transaction documents within the energy field. Prior experience working at an AmLaw 200 firm and/or sophisticated boutique firm is preferred. This is an immediate need.

Requirements for the Energy Finance Attorney:

• 7+ years of sophisticated energy finance experience
• Experience representing borrowers, reviewing loan documents, advising on mortgage indentures, secured credit facilities, unsecured bilateral and syndicated credit facilities, direct and agented private placements, government-guaranteed financings, tax-exempt bond transactions, taxable capital markets transactions, and lease financings of renewable projects
• Ability to manage a transaction from cradle to grave 
• Experience with Rural Utilities Service (RUS) regulations and loan programs a plus 
• Excellent academic credentials from a U.S. accredited law school
• Outstanding references
• Licensed to practice law and in good standing

The annualized compensation for this position ranges from $190,000 to $220,000 or more. Pay is based on numerous factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, credentials and location.  In addition to salary, Latitude Engaged Professionals are W2 employees of Latitude and are eligible for full benefits when working in roles for 20 hours per week, including a Qualified 401k plan.  Benefits-eligible Latitude employees receive complimentary Group Life, LTD and AD&D and professional liability insurance.  Latitude Attorneys also receive a CLE and Professional Expense stipend.
