Latitude is seeking a experienced Litigation Paralegal or Legal Assistant for an exciting full-time permanent opportunity at a Seattle-based law firm. Applicants should have at least 5+ years of experience as a Paralegal or Legal Assistant supporting litigation attorneys and some experience at a plaintiffs side litigation law firm. Successful candidates must have the ability to prioritize and multi-task to meet specific deadlines, and effectively engage with attorneys, staff, and clients. This is a hybrid position.
Requirements for the Litigation Paralegal or Legal Assistant:
5+ years of experience supporting litigation attorneys and some experience with working in a plaintiffs-side law firm
Bachelor’s degree and/or paralegal certificate
Demonstrated experience performing administrative duties such as managing correspondence, calendaring, travel arrangements and document and file management
Able to perform research and effectively support attorneys across various litigation practice areas (e.g. employment law, elder abuse, product, etc.)
Exceptional organizational and communication (verbal and written) skills
Consistent attention to detail, with a keen eye for proofreading documents
Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office products, attorney time-keeping systems, and law firm billing systems
A self-starter capable of working in a fast-paced client-driven environment, prioritizing workloads effectively, applying sound judgment to handle matters at a high level, and performing well under pressure
Motivated to learn new things and work effectively in a team as well as independently
Exhibit professionalism and uncompromising discretion with confidential or sensitive client information

Position Details of the Litigation Paralegal or Legal Assistant:
Type of Role: Permanent
Schedule: Full-time
Location: Seattle (Hybrid - 2 days a week at the office typically)
Compensation
Pay: The salary range for this role is $80,000 - $85,000+ and is bonus eligible. Pay is based on multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, credentials, and location.
Benefits: In addition to pay, a competitive benefits package is also provided, including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance; 401(k) and generous leave policies. 1 month paid leave after 7 years of service. Pay for ORCA card or parking stipend.
