Latitude is partnering with a boutique law firm in Seattle seeking a newly barred attorney in Washington State who is interested in gaining hands-on experience in personal injury law. This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity for a motivated and client-focused attorney looking to grow their legal skills in a supportive, fast-paced environment.
This position offers immediate exposure to a wide range of personal injury cases—including motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, and general tort claims. The ideal candidate is eager to take initiative, contribute meaningfully to case strategy, and develop litigation skills under the mentorship of experienced attorneys. Key Responsibilities:
Assist in managing a caseload of personal injury matters
Conduct client intake, investigations, and case evaluations
Draft pleadings, discovery requests/responses, motions, and settlement agreements
Support attorneys in depositions, mediations, and negotiations with insurance carriers
Participate in hearings and trial preparation
Maintain regular communication with clients, medical providers, and opposing counsel
Ensure timely and accurate documentation of case files
Qualifications:
J.D. from an accredited law school and active Washington State bar license
Strong writing, research, and communication skills
Ability to manage tasks independently while working collaboratively
Strong organizational and time-management abilities
A proactive, client-centered approach and eagerness to learn
Korean language skills are a plus, but not required
Position Details:
Role Type: Temp-to-perm, with opportunity for full-time hire based on performance
Work Schedule: Full-time
Location: Hybrid preferred (4 days in-office, 1 day remote) at the firm’s Seattle office; fully remote may be considered for the right candidate

Compensation: Pay: The annualized pay for this position on a full-time basis ranges from $100,000 or more when calculated on a full-time basis. Pay for contract roles is based on multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, credentials, location, market supply/demand, and the candidate’s preference (each candidate’s pay rate affects the client bill rate which can affect the candidate’s competitiveness for the position).
Benefits: In addition to pay, all Latitude contract professionals receive complimentary professional liability insurance coverage. Latitude contract professionals are usually W2 employees of Latitude and are eligible for full benefits when working in roles for 20 hours per week. Benefits-eligible Latitude contract professionals receive complimentary Group Life, LTD and AD&D. A qualified 401k plan is also available. Benefits-eligible Latitude Attorneys also receive a CLE and Professional Expense stipend.
