We’re seeking an experienced and highly proactive Legal Operations Manager to support and elevate one of our tech client’s legal department. This contract-to-perm role is ideal for someone with a proven track record of running legal operations with independence, resourcefulness, and speed. You’ll be instrumental in managing systems, streamlining workflows, and partnering across teams to enable the client’s legal function to run efficiently in a fast-paced tech environment.

Responsibilities for a Legal Operations Manager (Full-Time, Temp to Perm):
Own and optimize legal tech stack, including CLM (LinkSquares), Zendesk (legal intake), Docusign (e-signature workflows), Notion (knowledge management), and other tools. Identify integration gaps, streamline workflows, and drive automation where possible.
Design and implement legal operational structures and KPIs to improve visibility, prioritization, and efficiency across the legal team. Support legal intake, triage, and reporting processes.
Assist with the drafting, review, redlining, and negotiation of commercial agreements. Help build and maintain templates and contract playbooks.
Participate in legal reviews of internal or third-party processes to mitigate legal risk and ensure compliance with applicable laws and policies.
Collaborate with teams like Sales, Finance, People, and Product to align legal processes with broader business operations.
Jump in on legal assistant-type work when needed— be ready to roll up your sleeves wherever needed.
Qualifications for a Legal Operations Manager (Full-Time, Temp to Perm):
5–10+ years of experience in legal operations or similar roles within in-house legal departments, preferably at fast-paced or high-growth companies
Demonstrated experience managing legal systems and tooling—LinkSquares or similar CLM experience is a must.
Strong experience working independently with minimal oversight; you're known for anticipating needs and finding solutions.
Solid understanding of legal workflows, contract management, and basic compliance practices
Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
Comfort working across time zones in a fully remote, collaborative environment.
Previous experience building new legal ops functions from scratch.
Position Details of Legal Operations Manager (Full-Time, Temp to Perm):

Compensation
The annualized compensation for this position on a full-time basis ranges from $90,000 to $140,000 or more. Pay is based on numerous factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, credentials and location. In addition to salary, Latitude Engaged Professionals are W2 employees of Latitude and are eligible for full benefits when working in roles for 20 hours per week, including a Qualified 401k plan. Benefits-eligible Latitude employees receive complimentary Group Life, LTD and AD&D and professional liability insurance. Latitude Attorneys also receive a CLE and Professional Expense stipend.
