Latitude is pleased to partner with a prestigious AmLaw 100 law firm in its search for a highly skilled Senior Labor & Employment Paralegal to join the firm’s Seattle office. This individual will work closely with attorneys to support the firm's labor and employment practice by managing casework, conducting factual investigations, and handling a wide range of legal and administrative responsibilities. The ideal candidate will possess strong judgment, the ability to work independently, and experience supervising or training junior team members such as project assistants and paralegals.
Key Responsibilities of Senior Labor & Employment Paralegal:
Analyze, organize, and summarize complex legal and factual information into usable work products such as memos or written reports.
Conduct in-depth factual research using various tools and resources, including legal databases, client systems, and internet sources.
Support attorneys through all phases of transactions and litigation, including drafting documents, managing document productions, and coordinating logistics.
Utilize firm and practice group-specific technologies to manage workflows and maintain organized client and matter files.
Ensure timely and accurate timekeeping, record management, and compliance with firm administrative standards.
Serve as a point of contact for vendors and service providers in accordance with firm policies.
Train and mentor project assistants and junior paralegals as needed.
Exercise sound independent judgment in handling legal tasks and contribute to developing efficient systems and procedures.
Qualifications of Senior Labor & Employment Paralegal:
Bachelor’s degree preferred, with 5+ years of paralegal experience in labor and employment or a related legal practice area.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with legal software and practice group technologies.
Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—with the ability to present complex information clearly.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Demonstrated integrity, discretion, and a high level of professionalism.
Working knowledge of Excel and basic accounting principles is a plus.
Ability to take initiative, problem-solve, and work with minimal supervision.

Compensation: The salary range for this role is $98,000 to $163,000+. Pay is based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, work experience, qualifications, credentials, and location.
