Long-term, Part-Time Engagement IT Contracts Role
This is a great opportunity for an attorney with strong IT contracting experience who wants to work part-time, remotely. The candidate will work as a Latitude Attorney on assignment with a dynamic IT services company. The client company is very entrepreneurial and family-oriented, yet works with some of the largest players in the industry and deploys team so on projects globally. The Latitude Attorney's role is primarily drafting, reviewing and negotiating IT services sub-contracting and staffing agreements as well as equipment purchase and sales agreements, establishing a contract management system; managing overseas outside counsel as necessary.
Requirements of the In-house Counsel
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
- Experience with IT consulting, staffing, sub-contracting and SaaS agreements (law firm and in-house preferred)
- Outstanding academic credentials from a top 100 law school
- Excellent communications and organizational abilities
- Licensed in GA or state of residence
- Outstanding references
Position Details of the Legal Counsel
- Type of role: Engagement
- Schedule: Part-Time, 5-10 hours per week, initially.
- Location: Atlanta, GA; remote work, out-of-market candidates considered
- Compensation: Highly competitive and commensurate with experience
