General Counsel (Part Time)

Latitude is seeking an experienced in-house counsel with at least 5 years of in-house experience, preferably with a publicly traded or large privately held company. Eligible candidates must have excellent communication and counseling skills. These skills include having well-rounded legal experience handling various day-to-day legal needs of a corporation such as drafting and negotiating contracts, handling labor and employment matters, managing litigation, and handling basic intellectual property/trademarking matters. This is a part time engagement for an accomplished, confident attorney to start and lead the legal department of a growing company.
Minimum Qualifications of the Litigation Attorney
- 5+ years of in-house experience, ability to work with little supervision
- Prior experience as an associate at an AmLaw 200 firm preferred
- Excellent academic credentials
- Licensed to practice law and in good standing in state of residence
- Outstanding references
