Latitude has an immediate opportunity for an Employment Attorney with 2 to 6+ years of practice experience including at least 2 years of management-side employment law experience. This is an outstanding opportunity to work at a prominent corporate law firm with a sophisticated employment practice in Nashville, TN. Eligible candidates must have at least 2 years of solid experience working as an employment counsel (management side). This role will support the employment practice group including with major labor and employment cases (e.g., class action cases).
Desired experience and duties include: wage and hour compliance audits, review of employee handbooks, drafting EEOC position statements, preparation of employment agreements, litigation (including responding to complex written discovery and handling e-discovery matters), and employment law M&A due diligence. Prior experience training HR departments or client employees a plus.
Requirements for the Employment Attorney
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an employment attorney representing management
- 2-6+ years of practice experience preferred
- Excellent academic credentials
- Licensed in TN or eligible to immediately waive in
- Prior experience in the L&E or Litigation practice group of a highly respected full service corporate law firm is preferred
- Outstanding references
