Senior Corporate Paralegal Joins a Nasdaq-Listed Gaming Company via Contract-to-Hire

Gambling.com Group Limited, a Nasdaq-listed fast-growing provider of marketing and sports data services for the global online gambling industry, was scaling fast. With the company’s growth, legal demands surged and General Counsel Michael Stein reached an inflection point—he needed to add a corporate paralegal to his team, and fast.

But this wasn’t a position for someone new to the space. Given the pace and complexity of work, Michael needed a seasoned paralegal with both corporate legal expertise and deep experience in the online gambling industry—someone who could step in and contribute immediately, without requiring training or a ramp-up period.

SOLUTION

Latitude quickly identified a seasoned corporate paralegal and contract specialist from our network with more than a decade of experience across gaming, corporate law, and litigation support. She had managed a similar portfolio of multi-jurisdictional regulatory compliance at another gambling company – making her an ideal fit.

Stein couldn’t commit to full-time hire immediately, so he brought her on through Latitude as a contract paralegal to evaluate both the new role and her fit with the team.

She began at 20 hours per week. Within a few weeks, her contract expanded to full-time. And just four months later, she became a permanent member of Gambling.com Group’s legal team.

“Kelli has been an amazing addition to the team! She has a great temperament and is intimately familiar with our regulatory landscape. She’s been an amazing find!” — Michael Stein | SVP, General Counsel, Gambling.com Group Limited
