Latitude Names Teresa MacLean Director of Legal Recruiting & Placement in San Francisco

Former Big Law Attorney to Place Latitude’s National Pool of Flexible Legal Talent in Substantive Contract (and Full-Time) Engagements

SAN FRANCISCO, CA (October 26, 2022) – Teresa MacLean has joined Latitude as Director of Legal Recruiting and Placement in the company’s San Francisco office. In this role, she works with experienced attorneys, paralegals, legal operations professionals, and compliance officers in California and nationwide to place them in sophisticated flexible engagement and permanent positions with Latitude’s legal department and law firm clients.

Before joining Latitude, MacLean was a Senior Associate in the Litigation Department of Morrison & Foerster LLP. In that position, she focused on the litigation of intellectual property and complex commercial disputes while maintaining an active pro bono practice. MacLean has litigated patent and trade secret cases involving a range of technologies, including biotechnology, pharmaceuticals and biologic drug products, communications, and more. She has also represented life sciences and technology companies in complex commercial matters and licensing disputes. MacLean began her career as an attorney in Toronto, Canada, where she provided life sciences patent services and counseling, including domestic and international patent preparation and prosecution. She also has experience with trademark prosecution and has advised clients on regulatory compliance.

MacLean earned her J.D. from the University of Toronto, Faculty of Law. She also holds an M.S. in molecular genetics from the University of Toronto, Faculty of Medicine and a B.S. in biochemistry and biotechnology from the University of Waterloo, Faculty of Science.
