Latitude Names Former CLO and Mintz Alum Benjamin Sigel Partner to Lead Boston Office

Sigel joins the globally ranked flexible legal talent company.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Oct. 14, 2026) – Latitude, a Chambers and Partners globally ranked flexible legal talent company serving legal departments and law firms, today announced that Benjamin Sigel has joined the company as a Partner to lead its Boston office.

Latitude began working with New England-based attorneys on client engagements in 2020. In the years since, the company has grown from six offices to 20 nationwide and significantly expanded its client base and talent network across the U.S.

In this role, Sigel will work with corporate legal departments and law firms in Massachusetts, New England, and nationwide, providing proven former Big Law attorneys and in-house counsel for flexible short- and long-term engagements.

“We’re excited to welcome Ben to lead our Boston office. He’s spent more than two decades practicing law and building relationships across Boston’s legal and business communities, with experience both in-house and across prominent Am Law 100, midsize, and regional law firms,” said Alex Su, President of Latitude. “Like every Partner who leads our offices across the country, Ben brings firsthand legal experience to this role. As demand for experienced attorneys on a flexible basis continues to grow, that relationship-driven approach allows us to meet that demand with the personal client service that has always been central to Latitude.”

Before joining Latitude, Sigel served as Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary of three life sciences and technology companies, including two clinical-stage biotechnology companies, where he built and led legal functions from inception and advised executive leadership. He also spent nearly a decade at Am Law 100 firm Mintz as a litigation attorney and later as national Director of Client and Community Relations, working with firm leadership to deepen client relationships across practices and offices.

“Legal leaders today have more options for how they structure their teams and get sophisticated work done,” said Sigel. “Having worked both in private practice and in-house, I’ve been on both sides of the attorney-client relationship. I’ve been the lawyer doing the work and the executive leading legal teams and deciding whom to hire, so I understand the many considerations that go into those decisions. Internal teams, technology, outside counsel, and experienced attorneys who can join on a flexible basis can all play a role. I’m excited to join Latitude and work with clients as they consider the right mix for the work in front of them.”

Sigel earned his J.D. from American University’s Washington College of Law, his M.B.A. from American University’s Kogod School of Business, and his B.A. from Middlebury College. He has also held leadership and governance roles with numerous legal, business, and civic organizations, including the Hispanic National Bar Association, Combined Jewish Philanthropies, Get Konnected!, and the American Jewish Committee.
