Katharine Fischman Named Director of Legal Recruiting and Placement in Nashville

Former Am Law 200 Attorney to Work With Company’s National Pool of Flexible Legal Talent

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Mar. 3, 2022) – Katharine Fischman has joined Latitude as director of legal recruiting and placement in the company’s Nashville office. In this role, she will work with experienced attorneys and paralegals in Nashville and throughout the country by matching them with corporate legal departments and law firms in substantive contract engagements and traditional permanent positions.

Fischman comes to Latitude from the Nashville office of Am Law 200 firm Frost Brown Todd LLC, where she practiced business and commercial litigation. In that position, she worked with businesses of all sizes to solve contract disputes, insurance coverage issues, real property concerns, environmental challenges, and organizational and governance issues.

She also served on the firm’s Women’s Initiative and Professional Development Committees and was active in its recruiting efforts.

Fischman earned her J.D. from Indiana University Maurer School of Law and her B.A. from Tulane University. She is a member of the Nashville Bar Association, Lawyers’ Association for Women – Marion Griffin Chapter, and Harry Phillips Inn of Court.
