Chad Wold

Chad is a Director of Legal Recruiting and Placement and works out of the company’s San Francisco office.

In this role, he helps experienced attorneys and legal professionals transition into flexible engagements as well as permanent positions.

Before joining Latitude, Chad served as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Recruiting Officer of a regional law firm, where he led national attorney recruitment and strategic expansion initiatives. He worked closely with firm leadership to recruit partner-level attorneys, guide mergers and firm integrations, and align talent strategy with the firm’s long-term growth objectives. During his tenure, the firm expanded into multiple markets nationwide and earned consecutive INC. 5000 rankings as one of the fastest-growing law firms in the United States. 

Earlier in his career, Chad served as Managing Director and General Counsel in private equity, advising on acquisitions, strategic investments, and executive leadership recruitment. He began his legal career by founding a solo practice focused on litigation and business advisory services. 

Chad has been active in several professional organizations, including the American Arbitration Association’s National Roster of Arbitrators and the Washington Mediation Association. He is also a member of Lincoln’s Inn of Court, the Montana Trial Lawyers Association, and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America. 

He studied business and marketing at the University of Montana and international law at the University of Oxford before completing his law degree at the University of Buckingham.  

Chad enjoys spending time with his family hiking, skiing, and exploring the mountains and great outdoors.
